Golden Triangle Obedience
Training Club

GTOTC  was established in 1965. It is the only obedience training club in Allegheny County licensed by the American Kennel Club.

The purposes of GTOTC are:

  • Promotion of obedience training.
  • Dissemination of information to the general public concerning obedience training.
  • Holding, sponsoring and encouraging performance events.

GTOTC offers obedience training from puppy through advanced classes. Instructors and assistants are volunteer members who offer experience, guidance and supervision to students. In addition to showing their dogs in obedience trials, instructors and assistants attend seminars on the latest training techniques. Our goal is to pass on the knowledge to those who attend our classes.

Training is the key to having a dog that is an enjoyable pet. A well trained dog will be a likable member of your family rather than a nuisance that creates problems in the home. Most behavioral problems are corrected with proper instruction and patient, consistent training by the dog owner. Learning how to train your dog. You will build a positive bond.
